Completed inclusionary units by on/off site since 1992

Developers have a choice on how they can “include” affordable housing as part of the inclusionary requirements. They can choose to pay a fee, develop units on site, develop units off-site, or a combination of the prior three options. The chart below focuses on on-site and off-site projects and shows how many units have resulted from those choices. Please note that fees go toward financing additional affordable housing. You can see data on this under affordable housing finance and development.
